Antique Guesthouse on a Country Compound
Named 2017 Best Antique Restoration by the Connecticut Home Builders Association HOBI committee, this top to bottom restoration is sited under ancient trees and a field of wildflowers in rural Connecticut. Clients of the Country Compound returned to the Davenport Team and asked Davenport Home to construct a vaulted living space with loft sleeping cove, full kitchen and bath for guests. A lower level with mudroom, custom built ins and laundry has been carefully added below grade to maintain the character of the original structure.
