Situated on a historic country estate, the Writer's Folly was built in a pine grove as a writing retreat from the main residence. Recognized by the Connecticut Home Builders Association HOBI team 2013 for "best new accessory building" - the "folly" is a raised one room cabin in the woods. Designed by Austin Patterson Disston Architects and built by Davenport Contracting, Inc of CT.
